The PIERRE Wave Motion Sensor is constructed from durable PC material and utilizes the PIERRE Wave communication protocol at a 2.4GHz frequency, ensuring secure and stable data transmission. It operates with a transmission power of ≤15dBm, providing a communication range of up to 50m in open environments. The sensor’s motion detection capabilities include an 8m transverse and 6m lengthwise detection range, optimized for typical home setups. It features a low power consumption mode, with a working current of ≤25mA and a standby current of ≤15μA, enhancing battery life. A low-voltage alarm triggers when the battery drops below 2.5V (±0.2V), ensuring uninterrupted operation.
The sensor is designed for wall-mounted installation at an optimal height of 2.2m, allowing for accurate motion detection. Integration with the PIERRE Smart home systems enables linking with other devices, such as triggering alarms or activating smart lighting.
